We are Jim and Bonni and we live in Minnesota in the heart of the lakes country!
How do we begin to express how excited we are about raising a child and about you being a part of this life-long journey?
When we got engaged, we dreamed out loud about our future children and the excitement of building our family together. It has been quite a journey since that day. It has become clear that God has a different path in mind for us on how we will build that family. Our future child was already growing in our hearts!
Hopefully this is where our journey brings us to you. We all have our own stories...whatever your story has been that brought you here, we want you to know the respect that we have for you and the loving choice that you have made to consider adoption for your child. Whatever your hopes for an open adoption may be, we believe an open adoption will add to the "extended family" and will allow our child to know more about their birth family and the loving decisions that brought us all together!
We are very family focused and we look forward to including our child in time spent with family and friends (they are so supportive of our adoption plan and are almost as excited as we are!). We hope to be very involved parents with our child and the activites that they choose as well. Our promise to you is that we will give a child unconditional love, stability, and support.
Our hope is that this web site gives you a little glance into our lives and that you might be interested in making an adoption plan with us. We are excited for the day that we will welcome a child into our family and we can write another chapter to our "story". There may be a lot in life that we don't know, but what we are certain of is our confidence to be great parents.
We are home-study approved with Lutheran Social Services of MN. We would love the opportunity to talk with you more about your wishes for an open adoption. If you feel we might be the right match for a child in your life, please contact us for more information.
